Cancellara RVV Bike Change Video

This didn’t work the first time I tried to post it, so I did a video screen capture and tried my best to get a good copy of the footage–so excuse the first few moments.

As for the action itself, well–it speaks for itself.  Enjoy!

One note: if you are the original owner of this footage and would not like it shared, please contact me and I’ll be happy to take it down and/or credit you for filming it.

About Whit

My experiences might easily fit many cycling fans' definitions of “living the dream.” Since getting hooked on the sport watching Lance Armstrong win the 1993 U.S. Pro Championship, I've raced as an amateur on Belgian cobbles, traveled Europe to help build a European pro team, and piloted that team from Malaysia to Mont Ventoux. As a former assistant director sportif with Mercury-Viatel, I've also seen the less dreamy side of the sport – the side rife with broken contracts, infighting, and positive dope tests. These days, I live with my lovely wife in Pennsylvania and share my experiences and views on the sport at Bicycling Magazine, the Embrocation Cycling Journal, and at my own site, Pavé.

It worked this time! I'd read elsewhere that this was an amazing hardware swapout. Thx for retrying.

[Disclosure: I was the Anon who reported the initial glitch…]

The bike he drops off has black hoods and the bike he takes has red hoods (see 37 sec). I thought FC's bike had red hoods the whole race. Seems like there may have been more than 2 bike changes???

Put him on a S-Works Tricross Carbon, and let him loose at Koppenberg or the Roubaix WC next CX season

If only he had an infinite number of bikes, he could have done that constantly for the entire race.

I think you will find that it is Saxo footage, he seemed to be outside the barrier and expecting it, I may be wrong.
