The head butting was funny but the way he almost rode Tyler into the barriers wasn’t.
People are trying to draw parallels between this and McEwen/O’Gradys’ Headbutting match. The way I see it, Renshaw did it not to hold himself up, or because he and Dean were trying to occupy the same space, he was trying to keep Dean and his momentum from overtaking him. In my mind (and the race jury), that seems more severe, and I think worthy of dismissal from the race. It’s a shame he thought that was the way to go about it. Definitely a stain in an otherwise extremely clean and stellar leadout career.
