So…he's not targeting the polka dot jersey in July then?

You know, with the Contador decision expected any day, and the Armstrong indictment potentially on the horizon…

Tweeds like that are strangely stirring.

But about Tomke, I would think he's tired of winning the most prestigious one day event in cycling. Shows what I know.

It will be interesting to see how ole Tommy makes out this spring…I may end up eating my words but I'm not sure he will be able to stand on top of the podium for PR or Flanders..his team better be ready to hang tough and actually be there for him in the later stages of the rae instead of leaving him isolated and open to attacks.

I'm not sure Boonen is suited for the Classics. Such a weird tactic for him. Me thinks he's gone all loopy…

Next you will tell me some Swiss dude is going to try and win Paris Roubaix or Flanders…or that the World Champion is from Norway or something.
    Crazy Talk!

Agreed. I really thought this was the year Boonen would make a serious assault on the Giro's GC. The course really suits him.
