Pav̩ Clothing РOrder Update

To all who took advantage of our first Pavé clothing order of 2011, I recevied an update today from Castelli.

Clothing will be leaving Castelli’s factory on Friday, June 17th and should be arriving to our “Service Course” (my living room) on or about June 20th. Caps and socks should be shipped on Monday, June 20th and arriving to me on or about June 22nd. If all goes as planned, all of your orders will be shipped no later than Friday, June 24th.

Thank you all for your patience during these past two months–it’s been an overwhelming and at some points difficult process. We’re proud to be sending clothing all over the world and we’ll certainly create a contest for those who share photos of themselves flying the Pavé flag in some interesting and faraway locales.

Again, thank you for your continued support and encouragement. We’re looking forward to getting you your kit soon.

About Whit

My experiences might easily fit many cycling fans' definitions of “living the dream.” Since getting hooked on the sport watching Lance Armstrong win the 1993 U.S. Pro Championship, I've raced as an amateur on Belgian cobbles, traveled Europe to help build a European pro team, and piloted that team from Malaysia to Mont Ventoux. As a former assistant director sportif with Mercury-Viatel, I've also seen the less dreamy side of the sport – the side rife with broken contracts, infighting, and positive dope tests. These days, I live with my lovely wife in Pennsylvania and share my experiences and views on the sport at Bicycling Magazine, the Embrocation Cycling Journal, and at my own site, Pavé.
