With a new batch of national champions come a new batch of jerseys. Above, Quick-Step’s Sylvain Chavanel’s new French Champion jersey. Decked in the French tricolore, we couldn’t imagine a rider more deserving of the attention that comes with being national champion.

Nice and classic. +1 on the black bibs

The subtlelty of if being blue white and red and not red white and blue does make it slightly more distinctive. I always thought Francis Mourey's French CX champ kit was cool even though it featured red shorts.

+2 for the black bibs though for sure. Let's hope he flies to colors to a stage win this year- maybe on Bastille Day even?
